SAFEGUARDING SUNDAY - SUNDAY 21ST NOVEMBER 2021
This year, as Bishop of the Diocese, I have designated Sunday 21st November as ‘Safeguarding Sunday’. This is an opportunity for all the parishes to come together and acknowledge the dedication of hundreds of parish volunteers who serve in the ministry of Safeguarding across the Diocese. During the celebration of the Sunday liturgy, we will renew our commitment to the pastoral care of victims of sexual abuse as well as children, young people, and adults in our parishes.
On Sunday 21 November at 3pm, I will lead a Prayer Service from St Peter’s Cathedral.
